Hello - my name is Matt Brooker. I've been working as a professional graphic designer since 2008. I started Brooker Design Co. in 2013 from my home office in Fort Wayne, Indiana. I offer a variety of services with a focus on illustration, logo design, and print design. Understanding - The first step to any design project is understanding your goals and pinpointing what I can do to help you accomplish them. We can start the process by exchanging a few emails, speaking on the phone, or meeting in person to discuss the project.
Research - Once I have an idea of what the project entails, the research phase begins. I'll spend time considering current trends, your target audience, your biggest competitors, and any other relevant factors that will help determine the best direction for your project. This part of the process may also include follow-up questions to further clarify your goals and vision for the project.
Rough Drafts - Next, I'll use your project specifications and my research to start forming basic visual concepts. This phase can vary greatly depending on the size and scope of the project, but typically involves sketches or basic digital mockups. At the end of this phase, I'll narrow it down to two or three of the strongest ideas and prepare a presentation.
Feedback & Revisions - Once my presentation is ready, I'll hand the ideas back to you for feedback, revisions, and further direction. This phase typically involves two or three rounds of revisions as we move towards finishing up the project.
Delivery - Once your goals for the project have been met and you're happy with the results, I'll provide deliverables that vary based on the specifications of the project. This could involve anything from sending you an email with art files to delivering printed material to your place of business.
